Udinese’s streak of two wins will be tested again this weekend, with Genoa visiting over for the second to the last gameweek of the season. The last home game of Udinese notably ended in disarray as a traveling Lazio squad were involved in an altercation, presumably after Udinese fans forced the visitors to stop playing by blowing a mock final whistle. Roberto Pereyra scored a goal in the process, angering Lazio players and forcing a fracas on the pitch.

Like visitors Genoa, Udinese still has a lot to play for in the remainder of the season. Genoa

Genoa, at 17th place with three meager points separating them from Lecce, will need all the points they can get in the next two games to secure themselves from relegation. Their crucial win against Cagliari last time out spared them the woes of possible relegation after a horrendous showing for three months running – the win is only their first since February 12.

Genoa has a good record against Udinese, winning four of the last six against the Bianconeri. Genoa, with a slim 3-2 winning score-line in the reverse fixture, should prove to be a stern test for Udinese.
