Tottenham v QPR Betting Preview

Tottenham v QPR Betting PreviewTottenham v QPR Kick Off: October 30, 2011 16:00

Tottenham will be facing Queen’s Park Rangers this Sunday at 4 PM at White Hart Lane. It seems that injury woes have not bothered Tottenham who have won four of their past five games. QPR will be quite a test though, as they have been seen as a revelation this season, being the resident giant killers of the Premier League beating Chelsea 1-0 at home last week. Will Tottenham trounce QPR, or will QPR outperform them?

Tottenham Team News

Tottenham have been in serious injury trouble with 7 players on the injured list losing the services of Ledley King, Nico Kranjcar, Victor Corluka, Ranieri, William Gallas, Tom Huddlestone, and Michael Dawson. These are players who could very easily start in any Premier League squad and their loss leaves Spurs a little thin.

Their home form has been fantastic, with only a tragic 5-1 loss to a Manchester City team (that has been playing out of their skin) being the only blip in an otherwise pristine home record. They will be defending their home record and will fancy themselves for all three points.

Likely Starting Line Up: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, Bassong, Assou Ekotto, Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Adebayor

Current Form: WWDWW

QPR Team News

Queen’s Park Rangers have been a revelation in the premier league this year and a win against Chelsea last time out is their best result to date. They were expected to flail about at the bottom of the table trying to avoid the relegation zone. Instead they find themselves right in the middle of the table and for now pretty safe. Along the way they have beaten quality sides such as both Everton and Chelsea 1-0, and Wolves 3-0 away from home. They have shown right off the bat that they deserve to be part of the Premier League and will be trying to bring that point home by performing well against London rivals Tottenham come Sunday.

They have injuries to deal with as well losing Gabbidon, Kieron Dyer, Campbell, and Hulse.

Likely Starting Line Up: Kenny, Young, Hall, Ferdinand, Traore, Wright-Phillips, Faurlin, Derry, Mackie, Barton, Helguson

Current Form: WDLDW

Tottenham v QPR Betting Tip

QPR have been breaking the rules with victories against Chelsea, Everton, and Wolves. They will be looking to emulate these feats against Tottenham as well, but it doesn’t seem likely, as Spurs are on a fantastic run of form right now and the difference in quality should be too much for QPR to handle.
